Being one of the finest museums of the state of Chhattisgarh, the Mahant Ghasidas museum is one of the popular tourist attractions of Raipur. It is located near the D. K Hospital in the city. The museum was built in 1875 by Raja Mahant Ghasidas. The two-storeyed structure was later renovated by Queen Jyoti Devi and her son Digvijay Das in the year 1953. It covers an area of about two hectares. The exhibits in the museum include specimens of weapons, ancient coins, inscriptions, sculptures and carvings, etc.
