Ghushmeshwar Nath Dham, Pratapgarh

Ghushmeshwar Nath Dham is located in the Lalganj Ajhara district of Pratapgarh. In fact, the town is generally seen as a historical pilgrim destination because of this temple. Legend has it that Lord Rama passed through the town during the Ramayana era.

The rare kareel tree found near the dham finds mention in Ramcharitramanas by Goswami Tulsidas. The sacred Sai River also passes near the dham. The temple attracts hordes of devotees throughout the year who come here to worship and take a purifying dip in the river.
