Pochampally Weather

The best time to visit Pochampally is from October to February when the temperature comes down, and the heat from the sun does not wither you down. The evenings during the winter months can be a little cool, so it is best to travel with a light jacket or shawl.

Summer

Summers in Pochampally are extremely hot, and it can become acutely dry and humid. The summer starts in the month of March and continues until the end of June. The temperature can go as high as 45 degrees Celsius during the summer months. The town is best avoided during summers.

Monsoon

Monsoon sets in the month of July and continues through August and September. The maximum temperature comes down to about 35 degrees Celsius, but rains do not provide the much needed relief from the scorching heat of the sun. The rainfall varies between moderate to heavy and the humidity levels rise during the monsoons.  

Winter

Winters are unlike the chilly winters of the north though typically the winter months are December, January and February. January is supposed to be the coldest month in the region with the minimum temperature not falling below 25 degrees Celsius. The winters are not cold but pleasant, and it is quite tolerable to venture out during the mornings and afternoons without worrying about the heat from the sun.
