Devaaya Ayurvedic Spa Resort,Panaji
Devaaya Ayurveda and Nature Cure Centre has been set up by Victor M. Albuquerque, founder of the Alcon Victor Group in Goa. This resort is situated on Divar Island - just 10 kms from Panaji - (Goa’s capital city), and is set on a lush five acre property amidst swaying palms. Devaaya consists of 60 luxurious rooms built in true Goan style cottages. The ambience, the serenity and the spiritual vibes make Devaaya a paradise.
Facilities
The Centre has extensive facilities for various Ayurvedic treatments including Panchakarma & Naturopathy treatment provided by a team of Ayurvedic/Naturopathy doctors and male/female masseurs. Besides, the Centre has other facilities such as Jacuzzis / Steam rooms and Saunas as well as the outdoor facilities like a Swimming pool, Tennis Court, Meditation/Yoga, hall, a Gym, and a Jogging track.
Other general amenities include safety lockers and doctor on call facility. The resort has 3 Diet Centres - an indoor A/C diet centre "Malar", the outdoor diet centre "Manos" set in a typical Goan ambience facing the river and "Amboi" the pool-side diet centre.
The Resort has two multi-purpose halls, one a/c and one non-a/c which can accommodate up to 60 guests each theatre style. Both halls are used for conducting lectures and for meditation. Devaaya also provides motorized buggies for transportation for the convenience of guests.
