Orchha, held by Betwa river in her arms, lies in the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh in the district of Tikamgarh. Founded by the famous king of the Bundelkhand region, Rudra Pratap Singh in 1501, Orchha lies just 15 km away from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Being the founder of this place, Maharaja Rudra Pratap Singh is the first king to rule Orchha.
