Kalaram Temple, Nashik

2

The Kalaram Temple is a major pilgrim attraction in Nashik. Constructed by Gopikabai Peshwa in 1794, the Kalaram Temple resembles, in its architectural style, the Trimbakeshwar Temple, another significant pilgrim site a few miles away.

It is fully built in black stones. The temple stands tall at 70 ft and has a peak made of copper that is gold-plated. Idols of Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman adorn the place. There also exists a Ganpati Temple, a Hanuman Temple and a Vitthal Temple in the vicinity.
