Nandi Temple is one of the 'must visit' attractions of Nandi Hills, which was constructed during the rule of Kempe Gowda in the Vijayanagar period. This pilgrimage site is located on the foot hills of Nandi Hills and is regarded as one of the most revered shrines of the area.

Yoganandeeshwara and Bhoganandishwara are the presiding deities of this temple. This structure was constructed during the period of Hoysalas, Banas, Cholas and Vijayanagar Kings and is adorned with unique metal work and carved pillars. Upon reaching the site, devotees can see a lamp tower that has been built in front of the Nandi Temple. This lamp tower is lighted on a daily basis.
