Nagore Dargah is a world famous dargah located in the southern state of Tamil Nadu in India. The dargah is considered as one of the most auspicious dargahs all over the country and also across the globe. Hazrath Syed Shahul Hameed Quadri is the person behind the significance of this dargah.
The dargah is not too far from Thanjavur. It is situated at a distance of 78 km from Thanjavur. Moreover, one who wishes to come from the capital of the state, Chennai has to take a five-hour drive. The masjid is more than five hundred years old, and it has been built in a southern architectural type.
It has a resemblance to all the Hindu temples in that area. The Dargah is located over a five acre land and is dedicated to the sixteenth century Saint Nagore Andavar. Nagore Andaver is popularly known all over the world as Quadir Ali.
