Muralidhar Temple, Naggar

Muralidhar Temple, one of the most popular tourist destinations located at Naggar, is known for its architectural style which is similar to that of the pyramids of Egypt. The temple enshrines idols of the Hindu deity Krishna and his beloved Radha, apart from that of Garuda, a mythical bird-like creature of the Hindu mythology, and Laxminarayana, the Hindu deity, Vishnu, and his consort Laxmi.

Built during the medieval period, the idols of the temple have been receiving royal patronage for a long time.
