Mukteshwar Inspection Bungalow is a major tourist attraction of the hill station and is located close to the Mukteshwar Temple. It is an inspection bungalow of the Public Works Department (PWD). Earlier, this building was managed by the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam and was known as the KMVN Rest-house. According to records, the eminent British hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett spent a considerable amount of time here, strategising plans to kill tigers. Tourists visiting this place for a day or two can avail lodging facilities in this bungalow.
