    Kesaria is famous for having the largest Buddhist Stupa of the world. ASI, i.e., the Archaeological Survey of India discovered it in 1998. The Stupa stands dominating the skyline at 104 ft. It is even taller than the Borobodur Stupa in Java.

    It was taller than 150 ft in height but was reduced to 104 feet after the 1934 earthquake in Bihar. The Buddhist style of architecture is clearly manifested in the stupa and can be a pleasure to observe.
