Duryodhana Temple, Mori

Duryodhana Temple is a noted shrine located in Jakhol near Mori. This temple is regarded as the biggest temple in Uttarakhand, which is devoted to Duryodhana, a mythological character of the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata.

This temple was built by the inhabitants of the Saur Village. Besides, places like Osla, Gangar and Datmircan also have temples devoted to the Kauravas. Interestingly, the locals believe that the Pandavas and the Kauravas are their ancestors.
