Jama Masjid, Mathura

Jama Masjid was built by Nabir Khan, who was the governor during the reign of Aurangzeb. The main attractions of the mosque are the four decorated minarets and the mosaic plastering on the lofty structure.

The mosque is situated close to the Janmabhoomi Temple, symbolising the peaceful coexistence between the Hindus and the Muslims.
