Udan Khatola, Malampuzha

Udan Khatola, the passenger ropeway built over Malampuzha Gardens, is one of the most sought-after attractions in Malampuzha. Being the first and the only ropeway in South India, Udan Khatola of Malampuzha attracts visitors and travellers from all over Kerala.

The ropeway is constructed at a height of 60 ft from above the gardens and covers a stretch of about 625 m. The ropeway offers an excellent vista of the gardens and the mountain ranges against the backdrop of which the garden is placed. The passenger ropeway with its transparent hoods is absolutely safe for children as well as adults, and the 20 minutes ride covers the entire stretch of the garden.
