Malampuzha Gardens, more popularly referred to as the Vrindavan of Kerala, lies in proximity to the reservoir area. It is a perfect location where the wonders of nature go hand in hand with the creativity of man.

The garden area has long stretches of luxurious lawns, breathtakingly beautiful flower beds, splendid fountains, spectacular pools and other spots which offer a visual treat to the spectator. It is an ideal place for children for the garden has lots of play areas and amusements including a children’s park.

Other attractions of the garden are the aquarium, aerial ropeway, the Yakshi Statue, Rock Garden, Rose Garden, a swimming pool and the fountains. The garden has a man-made canal that offers boating facilities. Visitors can stroll through the pathways built through the garden and enjoy the sights of the garden to the fullest. Additional facilities such as drinking water, food courts, shopping courts, lockers, resting areas and security points are available.

On weekends and on other holidays, the gardens are illuminated from 7 PM to 8 PM. The entire garden and the dam site becoming a luminous delight are a sight no traveler would want to miss.
