Gurudwara Charan Kanwal Sahib Machhiwara is located in the city of Machhiwara, around 39 km from Ludhiana on Charan Kamal Road. It is believed that this Gurudwara houses a park where Guru Gobind Singh Ji had water and a nap. At this place, three of his followers - Dharam Singh, Daga Singh and Manu Singh - joined him.
A fair every year is held during December, the time when the above-mentioned historical moments happened as a commemoration. Another place of worship in the vicinity is known as the Gurudwara Chubara Sahib also known as Gulaba da Chubara where the Guru spent the night in the house of Masand Gulaba.
