Gurdwara Teesari Patshahi, Kurukshetra

This gurdwara is associated with Shri Guru Amar Das, who visited this place with his family on account of the solar eclipse. At that point in time, there was collection of tax if there was a pilgrimage made to a Hindu shrine. The guru refused to pay the tax; however, the emperor allowed him to continue with his pilgrimage.

The gurdwara is a place of worship for the Sikh community and attracts a lot of visitors the year-round. Gurpurabs, or birth anniversaries of the Sikh gurus, are celebrated with much fanfare.
