Krishna Menon Museum, Kozhikode

Krishna Menon Museum, one of the popular attractions of Calicut, is located at a distance of 5 km from the city. It is situated in a place named East Hill and lies close to the Pazhassi Raja Museum.

The museum was built in 1975 in memory of Inida’s great nationalist leader V. K. Krishna Menon. The museum showcases the personal belongings of this great diplomat and statesman. The museum has a separate section for art in which paintings and carvings are displayed.

This spot is well connected by road and travellers can take buses or hire rickshaws to reach the museum. Krishna Menon Museum is open to the public on all days but Mondays. Visitors are allowed from 10 AM to 5 PM. This is a must-see attraction for all those who are interested in the cultural, nationalistic and artistic history of India.
