Baroli, Kota

Baroli is a beautiful place situated at a distance of around 45 km from Kota. It lies on the way to Rana Pratap Sagar from the destination. The peaceful and serene ambience of Baroli attracts a large number of travellers from all over the country.

The place is renowned for its old and beautiful Ghateshwara Temple. This is the only temple that managed to stand through the hard times though some of the idols in the shrine are partly damaged. A beautiful idol of the Hindu Lord Shiva or Nataraja is placed on the door of the mandapa. Rajasthani craftsmanship is clearly apparent on the pillars of the shrine.
