The Deobandh Temple is a renowned temple on the banks of the mesmerizing river basin, and is surrounded by water on three sides. It is located in Khodala near a small village, nestled comfortably in the laps of the majestic Sahayadri Ranges. It lies adjacent to the Mountain Range Wild Camp at Kerwadi, in Khodala.

The Deobandh Temple was built in dedication to Lord Ganesha. Special occasions like Ganesh Utsav and Vinayak Chaturthi see devotees crowding this spot. The excellent location of the temple against the backdrop of the hilly terrains and the calm river offers a serene spot to indulge in some meditation and peace.

The surrounding area of the temple also acts as a picnic spot. One can also see the Deobandh Waterfalls in the background.

Suryamal is situated in the Thane District in the region of Khodala, and is credited to be the highest peak here. The softly rippled up hilly areas along with the lush green vegetation makes Suryamal nothing less than absolutely fascinating.

The Suryamal Peak offers for a variety of trekking opportunities. It is dubbed as the ‘Paradise for Trekkers’ and with good reason. Once atop the peak, one will be enamoured by the spectacular view of the surrounding forests and the valley below.The Neuro Therapy Centre of Moga is also placed close to Suryamal and is worth a visit.

The Mountain Range Wild Camp organized at Khodala is one of the major attractions of the region. The camp spans across an area of 15 acres. The camp offers trekking facilities for novice and expert adventurous trekkers who wish to trek down the lovely woody forests of the Sahyadri Range.

Apart from trekking, the wild camp also offers other adrenaline-charged sport activities like Jeep Safaris, Waterfall Rappelling and Mountain Biking in the dense forest.The Mountain Range Wild Camp is an excellent hub to get that adrenaline rush of climbing down mountains and trekking up forest paths.

The Amala Wildlife Sanctuary is sprawled over a massive area of 15 acres and is home to some really rare species of flora and fauna found in the Sahyadri Ranges. Situated in Khodala, it is home to a varied species of animals, birds and plants alike.

Amongst the many animals that are spotted here, the Wild Boar, the Antelopes, the Bison, the Hyena and Jackals and Monkeys are a few exciting ones to look out for. The wide variety of birds found here include Orioles, Robins and Magpies, amongst many other species.
