    Deobandh Temple

    The Deobandh Temple is a renowned temple on the banks of the mesmerizing river basin, and is surrounded by water on three sides. It is located in Khodala near a small village, nestled comfortably in the laps of the majestic Sahayadri Ranges. It lies adjacent to the Mountain Range Wild Camp at Kerwadi, in Khodala.

    The Deobandh Temple was built in dedication to Lord Ganesha. Special occasions like Ganesh Utsav and Vinayak Chaturthi see devotees crowding this spot. The excellent location of the temple against the backdrop of the hilly terrains and the calm river offers a serene spot to indulge in some meditation and peace.

    The surrounding area of the temple also acts as a picnic spot. One can also see the Deobandh Waterfalls in the background.

    Amongst the many animals that are spotted here, the Wild Boar, the Antelopes, the Bison, the Hyena and Jackals and Monkeys are a few exciting ones to look out for. The wide variety of birds found here include Orioles, Robins and Magpies, amongst many other species.
