Keonjhar Weather

November is the month that is preferred by many as the best time to visit Keonjhar as it is the time when the weather condition is moderate. During this time the weather remains cool and pleasant throughout the day and the tourists can take pleasure in visiting the place and enjoy it to the fullest. 

Summer

Summer in Keonjhar is quite hot and humid and lasts from March to May. The temperature during the summer months can rise up to 45°Celsius and in the evening it generally goes down to a comfortable 25° Celsius. Traveling to Keonjhar during this time is not advisable.

Monsoon

Keonjhar experiences heavy rainfall during the monsoon season. The monsoon time in Keonjhar starts from June and lasts till the end of September. The monsoon stays for three months in the district and daily work gets disrupted during all these rainy months. It is advisable not to visit the place during these months of the year. Sometimes monsoon extends till October.

Winter

Winters are short but quite pleasant in Keonjhar. The winter season lasts from December to February. Sometimes the weather becomes extremely chill and it is advisable for the tourists to travel with woolen clothes. Sometimes the temperature can even drop down to 4° Celsius .
