Anasakti Ashram, popularly known as the Gandhi Ashram, was constructed in honour of Mahatma Gandhi. The 'Father of the Nation’, Mahatma Gandhi, visited this ashram in 1929. He wrote his commentary on Anasakti, meaning detachment Yoga, at this place. There are various books and photographs present in the ashram related to his life.The place has now been converted to a study-cum-research centre and facilities of lodging and kitchen are available here. There is a prayer room where prayers are held every morning and evening.
