Shiv Mandir, built during the supremacy of the Nawab of Sultanpur Lodhi, is located in Gur Mandi. According to a folklore, the Nawab had an evil eye on a newly married Hindu girl, a devotee of Lord Shiva. The serpant of Lord Shiva, Basukhi, is believed to have saved the girl from the Nawab.
