The Camps and Safaris Captures the luxurious nostalgia of a bygone age of the Maharaja's Safari and Shikar camps. The camp consists of comfortable tents, each with verandah, bedroom and bathroom. There is a large dining tent serving the best of Rajasthani Cuisine and a large open reception tent seating areas.
The campfire is the focal point for the evening entertainment programme with cocktails and the beats of the Thar -music, traditional Rajasthani dance, magic and puppet shows, jugglers, flaming torches and camel parades. Camps and Safaris offer luxurious safaris in Jaisalmer and the highlight of the place is the Camel Safaris which attracts not only Indian tourists but also a large number of foreign travelers.
The camps and safaris at Jaisalmer comes to life once a year during the Desert Festival which is held in winter. The empty sands around Jaisalmer come alive with the brilliant color and music during this time.
Facilities
The camp organizes numerous facilities to the guests to make their stay more comfortable and worth remembering. The public areas of the camp consist of an open-air restaurant which offer fabulous views of the Desert.
The Camp comes alive in the evening with campfire, musicians, dancers, camel safaris and traditional live cultural entertainment. There are two exclusive dining space which can accommodate up to 100 guests.
The dining hall is managed by expert chefs with years of culinary experience under their belt. The guests can enjoy the best of Continental, oriental, Indian and Rajasthani delicacies. There are also provisions for refreshing drinks and delicious snacks.
