Arunachal Pradesh has diversified climatic conditions which has lead to the growth of innumerable plant species. Indira Gandhi Park at Itanagar is one of the tourist spot of the capital city. Polo Park is famous for a small botanical garden. It is perched on a ridge at Naharlagun, 10kms from Itanagar. Being situated in the foothills of Himalayas, this area receives rainfall throughout the year which keeps the park lively and fresh.
Zoological Park at Chimpu in Papum Pare district attracts tourists for its variety of fauna. Different kinds of birds are also seen here which keep the bird enthusiasts glued to this park.
