Nrupatunga Betta, Hubli

It is 'recommended' that tourists should visit Nrupatunga Betta, which is situated on Unkal Hills in Hubli. Upon reaching this site, travellers will get the chance to see the beautiful view of the cities of Hubli and Dharwad. In addition, visitors can have a bird's eye view of the airport in the west and Amargol in the north.

They can also visit a Devi Temple that is situated on top of Nrupatunga Betta. This site is an ideal spot for people who want to spend time away from the chaotic urban life. It became the most popular picnic spot of the region after roads were paved here in 1974.

With the availability of well-paved roads, this site has become popular among morning-walkers, including locals as well as tourists. An entrance has been constructed just 1 km away from the hill. Tourists coming by car have to park their vehicle at this entrance and purchase a ticket to access Nrupatunga Betta. The entry fee is Rs. 10 for adults and Rs. 5 for kids.
