Mahatma Gandhi Setu, Hajipur

Mahatma Gandhi Setu is one of the longest bridges in the world. It was inaugurated in May 1982. The bridge has been built over river Ganga and connects Patna with Hajipur in Bihar. It is 5,575 m in length and is supported by 48 pillars. The bridge has been an asset to speedy transportation and better traffic management in the entire region.
