Jai Vilas palace is the residence of Scindia Dynasty and their ancestors even now. A part of it is now used a museum. It was constructed by Jiyaji Rao Scindia in 1809. Lt. Col. Sir Michael Filose is the architecture of this palace. Its architectural style is an amazing mix of Italian, Tuscan and Corinthian styles. Several artifacts and documents of Scindia reign and sword of Auragazeb and Shah Jahan are there.
