Tashi Viewpoint, Gangtok

The Tashi Viewpoint is a lovely spot. Present about 8 km away from Gangtok, one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga mountains from this point. And to enable the visitors relax and enjoy a bit more, a cafeteria, as well as an observation tower, have been added to the spot.

Apart from marvelling at the beauty of Mt Kanchenjunga, one can even see the sacred and vibrant Phodong and Labrang monasteries from this viewpoint that's close by Gangtok.
