The Ellora Caves can be visited just about any time during the entire year. The climate is favourable and inviting for the most part.

Summer

The summers can be a little uncomfortable on the travelling part, as the heat may become too much to bear � especially for foreign tourists.

Monsoon

The monsoons also pose as a good option, if one enjoys the rains. The surrounding environment is in full bloom during this period.

Winter

Mid-October to March make the best time to visit the caves as it marks the winter season when the climate is remarkable � cooler and drier.
