Srinagar Airport, otherwise known as Sheikh ul Alam Airport, is the nearest air base from Dras. Srinagar Railway Station is the railhead nearest to Dras and is situated at a distance of 152 km. This railway junction is well connected to all the major junctions across India. Upon reaching Srinagar Railway Station, travellers can board buses or taxi for Dras.

By Road

Travellers interested in going to Dras by road can reach the destination either by buses or by taxis. There are, however, no direct buses available till Dras. Instead, regular buses run to Dras from Srinagar. Direct buses to Srinagar are available from cities like New Delhi, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Ambala, Jalandhar, and Shimla.
