Doda Weather

The climatic conditions of Doda remain cool all through the year. Summers is pleasant while winters are accompanied by heavy snowfall. The weather becomes humid during monsoons. Several Buddhist festivals are celebrated in the month of January here. The month of March is colourful with people celebrating the Hindu festival of colour called Holi.

Summer

(April to June): The climate of Doda remains pleasant during the summer season. During this time, the temperature ranges between 32 degree and 18 degree. Tourists can also indulge in outdoor activities such as trekking and sightseeing as the climate remains favourable.

Monsoon

(July to September): The region of Doda receives very little rainfall during the monsoon season. The weather gets humid during this time, but nights are chilly.

Winter

(November to February): The climate of Doda becomes quite cool during the winter season. The minimum temperature recorded here during winters has been at a relatively bearable 4℃. The region also experiences snowfall during winters and visitors avoid coming here during this time.
