Shyama Temple is a religious place for Hindus which is one of the famous temples of Dharbhanga and is very popular for its beauty. It is dedicated to Goddess Kali who is referred as Shyama Mai here. The temple is also called Shyama Kali Temple.

Ahilya Asthan is a famous historical temple dedicated to Gautam Rishi's wife Ahilya. It is a famous historical temple and is also known as Ahilya gram. According to Ramayan when Lord Ram was on his way to Janakpur his feet touched a stone from which Ahilya was born.
Later, Ahilya was cursed by her husband Gautam Rishi to turn into a stone. Large fairs are held every year on the occasion of Ramnavami and there are other temples and mosques in the village as well.
Chandradhari Museum is famous for its assortment of artifacts and library facilities. Many tourists visit the place to get a first hand knowledge of the pieces that make the history of the region.
The water logged fourteen villages of Kuseshwarasthan block are blessed with abundant varieties and species of flora and fauna. The area has been declared as “Kuseshwarasthan Bird Sanctuary” and is a must visit. The rare birds one can spot here are Dalmatian pelican, Indian darter, Bar-headed goose, White winged wood duck and Marbled teal, to name a few.
Maharaja Laxmishwar Singh Museum was established in 1977 and proudly exhibits a rare collection of a number of objects and weapons made of gold, silver, ivory and tusker teeth. All the collections have been scientifically ordered and placed into eight different chambers.
The royal throne of Maharaj Rameshwar Singh, made of gold, silver and precious stones, a unique globe made of copper and a circular shield are a few of the valuable artifacts one can study here.
Catholic Church was built in 1891. Though the original building was damaged by the earthquake of 1897, later it was reconstructed. The church is also known by the name Holy Rosary Church. Fridays hold a special charm for the practitioners of the church and also the onlookers.
In addition to the splendid festivities of Christians in the month of December, another fair named “Anand Mela” is held on 7th October every year which is open to the public for participation.
Mahinam Mahadeosthan is a renowned temple of Lord Shiva situated at a distance of about 5 km from the Dharbhanga-Biraul pucca road. Large annual fairs are held here on the occasion of Kartik and Maghi Purnima.
Sati Asthan is situated in the famous graveyard of Subhankarpur, which is about 1 km west of Dharbhanga Maharaji Bridge. Maharaj Rameshwar Singh, a great Tantrik used to visit the place daily during midnight for his Tantra Sidhi. People visit this place every Monday and Friday.
Malechchhed Mardini Temple is 1 km southwest of Dharbhanga Railway station. It is a temple of utmost importance for the devotees of the Shakti sect.
Bhika Salami Majar is situated on the bank of Gangasagar pond. During the 12th and 16th day of the holy month of Ramzan a fair is organized adding to the attraction of the place.
Mazar of Makhdoom Baba is a shrine with a difference. In addition to religious significance the shrine is famed for Hindu-Muslim unity. Every day people from both cults gather here to offer their prayers expressing the real flavour of unity.
Nawadah Durgasthan is the seat of the famous temple of Goddess Durga located on the Majkora Nawadah Road. The place is visited by hundreds of devotees every day. The Dussehra festival is celebrated here with great enthusiasm and devotion.
Raghopur is a village situated about 5 km to the south of Sakri railway station. It is noted for its earthen mound, known as Sheosingh-garh, which is believed to cover the ruins of a building, built by Raja Shiva Singh.
