St. Andrew's Church, Dalhousie

3

St. Andrew's Church, also known as the Church of Scotland, was constructed in the year 1903 at Baloon by Protestant Christians. Though the church is more than 100 years old, it still remains in good condition and is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Dalhousie. The church authority, which takes care of this place, has constructed a boundary wall around the structure in order to protect it from any damage. The entry gate of the church remains closed all the time, but one can enter from the right corner of the main boundary wall.

It takes around 1 hour for tourists to explore the place which depicts the artistic excellence of the British. St. Andrew's Church is situated at a distance of 1.5 km from the main bus stand of Dalhousie and can be reached by bus. Adventure lovers can also walk to the church while enjoying the scenic beauty of the place. Some of the attractions near the church include St. John’s Church, St. Patrick’s Church and Subhash Baoli.
