Sonanadi River, Corbett National Park

Sonanadi river is an offshoot of the River Ramganga. The Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary derives its name from this river, which meets the Ramganga River in the Corbett National Park and enters the park from the northwest. This river is called the 'River of Gold' because a large amount of gold was found in its alluvial deposits.
