As the name suggest, Karnavas is a historic city which has been named after one of the greatest heroes of Mahabharata, Karna. King Karna was known for his philanthropic activity and was known as ‘danveer Karna’. Legend has it that during his days, Karna would donate about 50 kg of gold every day. While here, tourists can visit the temple of Goddess Kalyani which also dates to the Mahabharata period. Karnavas is within easy distance from Bulandshahr and can be reached by taking auto rickshaws or taxis from the city.
