The months from October and November mark the onset of the tourist season in Bhagalpur. The best time to visit the city is from October to March, which are pleasant and mild.  

Summer

The summer season starts from March and extends till the end of May. Temperatures range from 25°C to a maximum of 38°C. At the peak summer days, the mercury can scale up to 40 degrees Celsius.

Monsoon

Bhagalpur receives rainfall during the months from June to September. Temperatures range in low thirties during this period, and it is possible to visit the place during the monsoon season. It is pleasant during the months of October and November as the conditions are mild and temperate.

Winter

Winter season rules from December to February. Temperatures can drop to a low of 11°C, and the maximum expected temperature is around 18°C.
