Yellur Fort, Belgaum

Yellur Fort is located in a picturesque hillock at Belgaum. The fort on top of the hills is visible from almost all parts of Belgaum. Situated nearly 2500 ft above sea level, this historical fort dates back to many centuries. 

A beautiful temple of Lord Shiva is located in the fort and it also has a well of sweet water on top of this hill! The architecture of the fort is indeed impressive. An awesome view of Belgaum city can be seen from this fort.
