Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bangalore

Chowdiah Memorial Hall is a cultural centre where musical and theatrical performances happen time to time. The place also organizes competitions and other events related to arts and culture. This is a memorial dedicated to the violin maestro Tirumakudalu Chowdiah.

The auditorium here is built in the shape of a seven-stringed violin. It also has a marble foyer lit with chandeliers. This is perhaps the only auditorium in the world dedicated to a musician and shaped like a violin.
