Byndoor is famous for its beautiful beaches and the glorious sunset. Located in Kundapura, in the Udupi district of Karnataka. The village is home to the Sri Someshwara temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is present right on the seashore, giving it a truly unique setting.

Kshitija Nesara Dhama is a place of scenic beauty with its tropical foilage of palms and cocnuts that looks onto the open sea. The Dhama which is located atop a small hill provides a panromic view of the Arabian Sea. One must spend some time in this beautiful place and take in the refrehing feeling it gives.
Seneshwara Temple
Seneshwara Temple is one of the oldest temples here in Byndoor. Many a devotees come here to offer their prayers to the Shani Dev to whom the temple is dedicated.
Mahakali Temple
Mahakali Temple, located in Byndoor, is an ancient temple dedicated to goddess Kali. Devotees flock here to offer their respect to the goddess. Tourists are also welcome here. One should keep in mind that photography is strictly prohibited in this temple.
The Someshwara Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located close to Byndoor Beach. The temple enshrines a lingam which is its main diety. Devotees who come here offer flowers, milk, curd and ghee.
Sri Ramachandra Mandir
Sri Ramachandra Mandir is a popular religious site in Byndoor and is dedicated to Lord Rama. Tourists and devotees come here throughout the year to offer worship to the God. One must keep in mind that alcohol and non-vegetarian food is prohibited here.

The nearest airport Byndoor has is the Mangalore Airport. It is situated at a distance of about 121 km and tourists can travel to Byndoor by bus from here. The airport is well connected to the Middle East like Doha, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Dubai and Bahrain. It is also well connected to all the major cities in the country. Byndoor has its own railway station that is well connected to all the states of India.
